The project:
The Cannes Lions Festival is one of the biggest global events celebrating creativity, bringing together top media, advertising, and tech companies every year in the south of France. In 2024, Instacart made its biggest splash yet, featuring our iconic oversized delivery bags as a standout activation on the esplanade, alongside our cutting-edge Caper Cart.
What we did:
For Cannes 2024, we teamed up with British agency 2LK to create a bold, head-turning activation. We brought Instacart’s signature delivery bags to the Palais, making sure they stood out in the festival’s buzzing atmosphere. The goal? Showcase Instacart’s ad products to an international marketing audience while also highlighting our smart Caper Cart for global retailers—demonstrating how we’re shaping the future of grocery shopping.
As art director, I played a key role in making this activation happen—making sure everything aligned with Instacart’s brand, guiding the creative direction, and refining the visual execution from start to finish.
